You can gather real-time data on your personal exposure to environmental pollutants and conditions including airborne particles, chemicals, temperature, and humidity.
You can gather contextual information on your locations and activities as you measure your personal exposure
You can view data from all your past recorded events and share your personal exposure data with others
You need the PET Recorder App! Click on the following links to download: Android or iOS.
You need an Atmotube PRO air monitor! Click the following link to purchase a monitor: ATMO Web Site.
Note: You may be eligible to receive a free Atmotube PRO if you are a participant in an ongoing study or project.

Make sure the Atmotube is charged by plugging into a USB port
Check to see if it is on by pressing the big button and observing lights
If there are no lights, and the Atmotube PRO is charged, try turning the monitor on by holding the big button for 4 seconds
The AtmoTube PRO needs to be on for several minutes to warm up
You can try using the official ATMO mobile app in combination with the PET Recorder app described on this website
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone
Open the PET Recorder app on your mobile phone
You should see a list of available Atmotube PRO devices on the startup screen
Press the connect icon for one of the monitors to connect to it
Once the PET Recorder app is connected to an Atmotube you can press the record icon to go to the recording screen or press buttons along the bottom of the screen to edit tags, connect to a different device, or view app settings.
You can go back to the list of available devices by hitting the Devices button at the bottom of the screen.
Before recording, you can go to the tag editor to add new contextual tags by hitting the Tags button at the bottom of the screen
On the record screen, do the following:
Name your recording session by pressing on the session name
Press the record button to begin measuring environmental quality every second
Observe the pollutant levels on the real-time scrolling graph
Specify current contexts by selecting or deselecting tags
End a recording by hitting the Stop Recording button
